Chicago folk and funk legend whose silky golden voice is once heard and never forgotten. Classic albums on Cadet in the seventies became sought after in the nineties as the Acid Jazz movement swept the UK. Championed by the likes of Gilles Peterson, he has since made five albums for labels such as Talkin' Loud and more recently Mr. Bongo. The last album 'Hidden Conversations' released in 2009, features Massive Attack and has been one of his most popular albums to date.
