Based in the heart of Exeter, the Exeter Phoenix is the city’s leading arts and media venue, staging over 330 events per year ranging from dance, film and live-art to world music, hip-hop and folk. The venue also hosts several major arts exhibitions per year featuring cutting edge contemporary regional, national and international artists and is a key host for various festivals in the city such as the Exeter Summer and Autumn Festival (performing and visual arts), Vibraphonic (music), Animated Exeter (film) and Exeter Respect (world music). A myriad of arts and health based courses, workshops and classes are also held at the venue and the fully licensed Café Bar offers an imaginative selection of homemade food throughout the day and evening with vegetarian, vegan and wheat-free options. Exeter Phoenix is a non smoking venue. Opening times are Mon – Sat, 10am – 11pm, with an extended licence for special events.
Concessions
Concessions apply to benefit recipients, disabled customers, under 16s, over 60s, students and volunteers. Contact Exeter Phoenix Box Office on 01392 667080 for concessionary tickets. Under 14s must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over for all standing gigs.

Julian Marley has been around music all his life. Born in London in 1975, he has been blessed both by his father's great talent and legacy and by the unique perspective that comes with an upbringing in a multicultural community.
Since recording his first song at age five at the Marley family home in Kingston, Julian has become a skilful, self-taught musician, mastering the bass, drums, and keyboards. In 1989 he released his first album, titled "Uprising" -- also the name of his new band. He moved to Jamaica in 1992 and began to work with such reggae veterans as Aston "Family Man" Barrett, Earl "Wire" Lindo, Tyrone Downie and Earl "Chinna" Smith
